U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent appointed Galaxy Digital’s regulatory legal adviser Tyler Williams as digital asset and blockchain technology policy adviser. Williams currently serves as head of regulatory and legislative affairs and regulatory advisory at Galaxy Digital, and also teaches part-time at George Washington University Law School. Previously, Williams served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury from 2018 to 2020, advising the Treasury Department on digital assets.
