FTX began paying small claims to creditors today

GuShiio.com learned that FTX creditor Sunil tweeted that FTX began paying small claims to creditors today involving accounts with claims of less than US$50,000. The total repayment in this round is US$1.2 billion, and approximately US$800 million has been currently paid, covering approximately 162,000 accounts, accounting for 35% of the estimated 460,000 eligible claims accounts. Of this, 50% is paid to the original holder and the other 50% is paid to the creditor.
