GuShiio.com learned that the board of directors of Japanese listed company Metaplanet has decided to issue the seventh phase of zero-interest-rate ordinary bonds with a total amount of 2 billion yen (approximately US$13.4 million) with a maturity until August 26, 2025. The funds raised will be used to purchase Bitcoin, which is in line with the company’s fund use plan released on January 28. It is expected that the funds needed to repay the bonds will be obtained through the exercise of stock options for issues 13 to 17.
