Upbit: Claims that 30,000 fake IDs passed through the KYC system are not true

GuShiio.com learned that Upbit issued a document clarifying some information about regulatory sanctions, which pointed out that it is not true that 30,000 fake ID cards (including hand-painted ID cards) have passed the KYC system. Upbit uses several additional procedures including identification to conduct KYC. If members submit insufficient ID cards, they will be required to re-execute them. Regarding transactions on unreported virtual asset exchanges, Upbit stated that under the Specific Financial Information Act, withdrawal transactions with 23 unreported exchanges (such as MexC and Kucoin) have been restricted, and a cumulative limit of 227,115 related withdrawals have been imposed.
