Two U.S. congressmen are pushing to add NFT legal protections to a broad digital asset regulatory framework bill. The NFT bill, introduced by William Timmons (R-SC) and Ritchie Torres (D-NY), aims to define some NFTs as non-securities, including consumer goods such as art, video game assets and members. The bill has been included in a revised version of the 21st Century Financial Innovation and Technology Act (FIT21), and although the bill has passed the House, it has not yet been approved by the Senate.(Decrypt)
