Bitcoin will add quantum-resistant addresses before any serious threat arises. Anyone alive and having access to a wallet will transfer Bitcoin to a new quantum-resistant address. Bitcoins in lost wallets, including Satoshi Nakamoto’s bitcoins (if they no longer survive), will be cracked and put back into circulation.
