Bloomberg: U.S. unions sue to prevent Treasury from providing citizens ‘personal and financial data to Doge

The lawsuit alleges that treasury chief scott bessent allowed doge to access the federal payment system, which contained secret data about collectors, government employees and businesses, a move that was allegedly illegal. The union believes that such data sharing violates members ‘privacy and asked the court to intervene and suspend the operation until the case is decided.
