According to Coindesk, citing local news website Dawn, Pakistan plans to establish a national crypto committee to formulate cryptocurrency policies. The committee is composed of government representatives, regulatory agencies and industry experts. Last year, Pakistan’s Ministry of Finance opposed crypto regulation, but Aurangzeb said it would review it with an open mind and emphasized the importance of establishing a sound regulatory framework.
