The past few months have been turbulent, to put it mildly. While it is clear that many things need to change for Ethereum to succeed, it is easy to overcorrect and lose its magic in the pursuit of extreme optimization. This week’s announcement leads me to believe that we have found the right balance between these two extremes. Tomasz Stanczak is the only person I can imagine joining the Ethereum Foundation from the outside and immediately getting into work to help us accelerate our development. Hsiao-Wei Wang’s deep understanding of how research evolved into a norm and eventually into production clients, as well as his perspective as a long-time EF member, are uniquely complementary to Tomasz’s background. Danny Ryan joins Ethereum promotion and product creation company Etherealize as a joint venture. The organization will take on the important task of promoting large-scale adoption of Ethereum.
