After thinking for a long time, I decided to record it. At this stage, pain, doubts about yourself, annoyance and a feeling of being wronged by your efforts. Make it more as a record, not as a replay. The resumption may require more rationality.
First of all, I want to declare that I am not a perpetual blogger, nor do I have an invincible amount of funds. The loss of 2M has been accumulated over the years. I have scraped it out one hair at a time and stepped on one hot spot. It is also a relatively large retreat since I entered the circle.
1. Contracts on Hype
In 18 years of contract creation, I lost more than 2000 Ethereum and 100 big cakes. That painful experience made me secretly decide to never touch contracts except hedging when trading.
At the end of the year, Hyperliquid was booming. I opened at 5wu and made 10wu. I decided that Hype, as one of the few innovations in this round, would continue to eat into Cex’s share, so I decided to place a heavy position in Hype at a high position in the more than 20s.
Since Hype itself is a contract platform, it runs counter to the rule I gave myself not to touch contracts, and I wanted to experience more of the Hype platform functions, so I decided to add an unlimited margin with triple leverage. In the end, a margin of 1M was placed on the contract platform, which also paved the way for huge losses later.
When the “Never Contract” flag was set in 2018, I would never have imagined that I would tear up my oath in Hyperliquid in 2025.

2. AI agent
That’s right, I missed the surge in AI agents. And took over at a high position.
In fact, there was no heavy position, but as described above, with 1M in the Hype contract, I chose to use 20w to chase some leveraged positions of the AI agent. Compared with Hype’s position, I think it is much smaller, but it still underestimates the power of leverage.
The final high point took over Virtual and AI 6Z. The initial decline actually didn’t feel much. After all, the market popularity and narrative were good situations. However, the subsequent encounter with Trump’s market bloodsucking and Deepseek’s attack on the U.S. stock AI sector made the entire currency circle lose faith. I abandoned the car halfway and lost more than 80wu with less than 20w margin.
While chasing the AI agent with 200,000 knives, I made a mistake that an old cannon shouldn’t make: I used the lever as a magnifying glass, but forgot that it was even more a boring mirror. When Deepseek raided U.S. stocks, my position collapsed in distortion, and $800,000 evaporated faster than bad news spread.
After a lapse of seven years, he once again stumbled on the contract.
3. Meme
I realized the importance of meme this round very early, so I have been building my own weapon toolbox, various on-chain surveillance and quick purchase of smart money. In the end, the situation did not achieve the imagined result, and all the efforts seemed very ridiculous.
